Glaziev V.N. – A leading researcher of Medieval Russian History, an outstanding expert in the fields of social and political order in Russia in XVI-XVII centuries, management organization and administrative practice, history of Russian borderzone; the author of more than 150 publications, the author of the monograph “Power And Society in the South Of Russia in XVII Century: Countermeasures Against Criminality” [Voronezh, VSU Publishing Company, 2001]; a participant of accredited research conferences in leading scientific establishments of the RF: MSU, IRH RAS, IGH RAS. V.N. Glaziev has supervised 8 PhD theses.
