«Proceedings of Voronezh State University. Series: History. Political science. Sociology» issues four times a year. The journal publishes results of original investigations in the fields of history, archaeology, political and social sciences. Articles that have not been published in Russian are under consideration.

The journal takes for publication articles in history, archaeology, political and social sciences (majors: 5.6.1 – Native History, 5.6.2 – General history, 5.6.3 – Archaeology, 5.4.4 – Social Structure, Social Institutions and Processes, 5.5.2 – Political Institutions, Ethnopolitical Conflictology, National and Political Processes and Technologies).

The journal is included in the List of Peer-reviewed Scientific Journals recommended by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.

The journal is registered by the Federal Service for monitoring compliance with cultural heritage protection law. Certificate of Mass Media Registration ПИ № ФС77-28321, June 15th, 2007.

The journal has the following thematic sections:

• Scientific reports;
• Scientific information;
• Scientific life.

The journal publishes works of leading Russian and foreign scholars as well as papers written by young scholars and post-graduate students.

All papers are anonymously peer-reviewed.
