Brief summary of scientific activity:

Dr. Vladimir I. Fedotov deals with the problems of anthropogenic landscape studying, natural resources protection and recreational geography. He is co-author of a new scientific direction in the complex physical geography – anthropogenic landscape studying. An original conception of technogenic landscapes has been substantiated.
In 2000 Dr. V. Fedotov organized the scientific magazine "Proceedings of Voronezh State University. Series. Geography and geoecology" and became its Editor-in-Chief.
Dr. V. Fedotov is the founder of two new Chairs at Voronezh State University: In 1986 – the Chair of Geoecology and Monitoring of the Environment; in 2000 – the Chair of Nature Exploitation.
Dr. V. Fedotov is Chairman of the Dissertation Council D 212.038.17.
